truc / mural // nightime / blue

(in front of a mural on valencia in the twenties) - March 2015

I thought this image was kinda neat, so I printed it. 

But it was super flat on account of the negative being shitty. So I selenium-toned the film to deepen what information was there, then printed it again with slightly better results. 

But it was kinda like, whatever -so I made a contact print of that with a high contrast filter. The tones get inverted, but also the direction of the photo gets flipped so now it reads left to right -which is cool.

Then I blue-toned it. I dunno, just 'cause the mural had so much color in it, it seemed like the print wanted some.
