Brenden informs me that dude Larry Ellison was the one who cleaned up Warm Water Cove, aka Toxic Beach when they had their little boat party -the Oracle race thing. I guess they left what you can only see at low-tide. Makes sense.
He also said they're hella feral cats that live all up in the rocks there (like, there are a lot of cats -not that the cats there are especially feral). They come out at night and they're supposedly pretty scary, so watch out.
